Jazz Band

All students should have the following materials:

6th -- Band Expressions:  Book 1

7th -- Band Expressions:  Book 1

8th Grade -- Band Expessions: Book 2 -- will be given out the first day of school by Mrs. D

Pencil

Spiral Notebook or folder for daily warm-ups

Extra Materials -- reeds, valve/slide oil, etc...

Grading Formula:

45% -- Informal -- Class Participation, Materials Daily

45% -- Formal -- Concerts/Performances, Playing Tests

10% -- Homework -- Playing quizzes and check-ups, theory assignments, etc... 

Practicing this year will be assigned at the discretion of Mrs. Dockery.
